Benefits of being a Virtual Dynamic Runner

Virtual Dynamic Running entitles you to enter any of our events and participate at any location, at any pace. You can do it anywhere in the world! You can do it on your own, with your family, friends or running buddies. You can run, jog, plod, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, on the track, or anywhere else. You can do it as a family outing, as part of a running group, at another race, or just as a personal challenge on your own.

Here is what you can get out being a Virtual Dynamic Runner

1. It gets you off the couch

Entering an event – even a virtual one – will motivate you to get up off the couch and get out doing some miles. Our friendly and supportive community of runners on Facebook will help you to get moving and stay on track.

2. Run/Walk at your own pace

Not everyone likes to participate in races. It can be stressful, expensive and often requires travel time. The virtual option allows you to participate without pressure and expectation, yet you will have a great sense of achievement.

3. Race where and when you want

You can choose your own distance and route and run when it suits you as long as you’re clocking up the miles you need to claim your medal. If you live locally in the Cairns region, you may want to do the exact the same course as the event, using our GPX files, all be it on a different day or time of the year.

4. The community

While you may be running solo, you’re certainly not alone. Dynamic Running has a community of runners and volunteers who share their experiences and support others through our Facebook page. We also give back to our community, with a portion of every race entry fee going straight to a dedicated charity. So, if the race itself isn’t motivation enough, you can pick up the pace knowing your efforts are helping to make a real difference.

5. The medals

Our tailor-made race medals are definitely worth a victory parade around the living room or at your place of work. Each event bears its own specially designed medal. It’s a nice visual marker of your achievements and a lasting memento.
