Who we help

Dynamic Running Ltd. supports a range of local groups and charities around Cairns. Money raised from various events over the past years have been donated to the following groups:

Paws on the Path, 19 April YAPS Animal Refuge rescue abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats in the Cairns area, Far North Queensland. All proceeds from race entry fees after expenses.
Paws on the Path, 19 April Animal Care for Seniors at Home is a fairly new community group based in Cairns that matches volunteers to older people who are having trouble caring for their pets themselves and who can’t afford to pay for help. Volunteers assist with tasks such as dog walking, pet cleaning, grooming etc. Free race entry for volunteers from Animal Care for Seniors.
Gordonvale Half Marathon, 10km & Family Fun Run, 1 March Cairns to Karumba Bike Ride. The C2K fundraising money is allocated to assist students across Far North Queensland to receive improved educational opportunities. 50% after expenses to be donated to Elva Metcalf to support her fundraising efforts for this event.

Race entries and donations at the event came to $1, 608.50.

Do it in a Dress Running Festival, 10-12 April Marylyn Mayo Lodge. The lodge provides a home away from home for regional cancer patients who travel to Cairns for cancer treatment. $5 from the 5km, 10km and 21.1km
Family Fun Run at the Do it in a Dress Festival, 11 April Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Palm Cove offers a welcoming and peaceful environment near the beach or close to local wildlife where families with a seriously ill child can come together and forget about the stresses of hospital in a calm and relaxing setting. The Family Retreat is open to anyone caring for a child diagnosed with a serious illness. The whole family is welcome to stay for up to a week, although the Retreat does have a maximum number of occupants. All proceeds from race entry fees.
3 Marathons in 3 Days, 10-12 July Australian Quoll Conservancy The organisation was recently formed through a need of voicing to the World another critically endangered species and the last of the Australian native cats, known as Quolls.Their proactive group of individuals is currently engaging world’s public awareness of the existence of these unique creatures.Please like their Facebook page. $5 from each 3M3D race entry
Atherton Trails, 8 March & Tinaroo Trails, 7 June Australian Quoll Conservancy  Donations will be called for when you register for the events.
